LDS Church Presents Kevin Rudd Family History
SYDNEY: Elder Terry Vinson, Area Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and other Church representatives presented to Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, the 200 plus pages of ancestral data contained in the two-volume set of his ancestral history. The setting for the handover was Sydney's Kirribilli House.

Church College New Zealand Beautification Project

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today announced its intention to undertake a beautification project associated with the closure of the Church College of New Zealand at the end of 2009. This project will involve the dismantling of most Church College buildings and returning much of the land to natural pasture similar to the surrounding farm areas.

LDS Church Assists Sydney's Italian Community

SYDNEY: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has offered the ordering of copies of microfilm reels for those with Italian ancestry. This comes after eight years of negotiations with the Co.As.It, a voluntary organization to assist Italian emigrants. The Church's Family History Department provides education, resources and support to help others identify their ancestors from around the world.

Australian Former Prime Minister Visits Salt Lake City

Curiosity Instigated Guided Tours of Brisbane LDS Temple

LDS Young Women Present Gift Bags to Hospital

LDS Members Plant Trees on Kangaroo Island

Two Mormon Missionaries Save Woman's Life

Primary Children Sing Jingle for Measles

Hong Kong LDS to Assist China's Earthquake Victims

Young LDS Trek Tests Faith

GRIFFITH: 170 Youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, hiked a four day, 20- kilometre trek to experience a greater appreciation of their family’s ancestors and early Australian settlers. Their newly acquired skills taught them to catch, kill, pluck, and cooked their own dinner.
